Awesome New Culinary Event Celebrates the Bounty of Locally Sourced Foods
The San Antonio Botanical Garden celebrates the spring season with Texas to Table, an awesome new culinary event that honors the bounty of locally sourced foods, on Friday, March 9 from 6pm-9pm.Take a seat underneath the big Texas sky at the beautiful Lucile Halsell Conservatory Courtyard. Enjoy a spring menu inspired by the Garden and exclusively created for this special evening by Tim the Girl Catering and the Garden’s very own Chef Dave Terrazas. The menu for the evening includes wine reception hosted by Bending Branch Winery, hors d’oeuvres and a four-course meal includes a charcuterie board of seasonal fruits, meats, cheeses and vegetables.
Seating is limited. Tickets are now on sale. $125 per person. This evening is for adults, age 21 and older.
6:00pm: Guests will start the evening with cocktails where they will enjoy a selection of wines and conversation with Chef Tim McDiarmid and Chef Dave Terrazas.
6:45pm: Chefs will lead guests to the Conservatory where they will be greeted with farm to table setting, a selection of preset red and white wines, charcuterie board, and light background music.
7:00pm: Dinner presented by Tim the Girl catering and Chef Dave. Both chefs will educated guests on the meal, it’s source, preparation, pairings and much more.
8:30pm: Guests will enjoy after dinner coffee to end the evening.

The Garden has grown! The new expansion provides dramatic new opportunities for visitors to explore and connect with nature and discover the value of plants, water, freshly grown food, and the outdoors.
Daily admission to the San Antonio Botanical Garden is $12 adults; $10 students, seniors, military; $9 children age 3-13. San Antonio Botanical Garden is located at 555 Funston Place at North New Braunfels. Parking is free. The Botanical Garden is operated under the auspices of the City of San Antonio Department of Parks & Recreation and is open year-round except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
