Big Red Soda Is Conducting its Second Annual Fiesta Medal Design Contest
Big Red Soda, America’s original and best-selling red soda, is announcing its 2018 Fiesta medal design contest. From November 13 to December 8 participants are invited to submit their Fiesta medal designs at www.bigred.com/fiesta where others can view, vote and share their favorite designs on social media. The top three designs chosen by the public’s online votes will appear in a final round to be judged by Big Red. The winning medal will be produced as the official 2018 Big Red Fiesta medal and will be given away via a sweepstakes on Big Red social media channels in March 2018.
Big Red is looking for high school/college age art & design student contestants to bring their inspiring and creative interpretations of Big Red, San Antonio’s vibrant, deep-rooted family culture and Fiesta’s celebration to their medal designs. All design submissions will be available online for the public to see and cast their votes.
“Big Red wants to continue to be a part of the city-wide Fiesta celebration, reminding San Antonio it is the River City’s favorite soft drink,” says Sergio Trujillo, marketing director for Big Red. “Big Red is thrilled to give our number one fans a chance to design the official 2018 Fiesta Medal inspired by their memories of Big Red.”
