The largest Whisky and Liquor tasting event, the Whisky & Liquor Festival will take place Saturday October 14th, 7pm-11pm at Freeman Expo Hall B, 3201 E. Houston St, San Antonio Texas 78219.
This is the largest liquor tasting in the world, bringing together distillers from around the globe to share their finest spirits and knowledge with beverage enthusiasts. Hundreds of varieties of liquors and whisky will be available to sample as attendees will experience the art and science of all spirits in the company of connoisseurs and spirit celebrities.
Liquor and whisky is not alone on the menu as over 30 of San Antonio’s finest restaurants will also be present, serving up bite-sized portions of some of their most delectable dishes. Savory selections include Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse Smoked Tenderloin Filet, Poke Bowls from Kona Grill, Blackened Fish Tacos from Wildfish, Morton’s Steakhouse Filet Mignon Medallions plus brisket and sausage from Augie’s Barbed Wire Smokehouse. Additional restaurants participating include Luciano’s, J Prime, Los Barrios, Skuzzi’s Italian Grill, Ocho Lounge, Sangria on the Burg, Market on Houston, Mellow Mushroom, Two Bros. BBQ, Zoe’s Kitchen, Trader Joe’s and more.
Live music from The Velvet will entertain the crowd, the casino will provide high-stakes fun with valuable prizes up for grabs and thrill-seekers can experience the indoor zip line.
Advance tickets are $90 at eventbrite.com. Tickets are $100 the day of the event. Admission includes the opportunity to taste all liquor selections, unlimited food tastings plus casino chips. Guests can upgrade their tickets to enjoy the VIP lounge featuring samples of high-end Cognacs and Scotches aged over 20 years plus exclusive catering from Acenar restaurant. VIP ticket holders will also have “skip the line” privileges while visiting restaurant booths throughout the event.
Parking is available in Lot 1/Lot A at the Freeman Coliseum (enter through the West Gate).
