September 16 – Mexican Independence Day
Mexican Independence Day celebrates the “cry of independence” and end of Spanish rule in Mexico on September 16. Milagro Tequila Brand Ambassador Jaime Salas recommends you celebrate with food and tequila cocktails, such as The Freshest Sangrita made with Milagro Silver. www.milagrotequila.com
For those interested in pairing your food with the right tequila, Jaime says, “My recommendation is that you pair Milagro Silver with your more light, citric and savory dishes. For example, it’s a great way to highlight the complementary taste in a ceviche.”

4 parts fresh lime juice
4 parts grapefruit juice

Mattias Horseman, Hendrick’s Gin Brand Ambassador, says, “An infusion of botanical sophistication heightened by cucumber yields a cocktail of noticeably more sensory resonance than a more common-minded G&T. The Hendrick’s & Tonic has become a classic in its own right.” He adds, “Finish with 3 fine cucumber slices to garnish and accentuate the cucumber distillate within our Gin.”
