Three New Cocktails Added to the Menu At Perry’s Bar79
With inspiration from the highlands to the south, Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille introduced three new cocktails to the Bar79 mixology.
Perry’s three new cocktail creations – The Southern Gin Gimlet, Highland Highball and Spicy Mango Tango are artfully crafted and refreshing. Perfect for summer, these cocktails pair perfectly with steak or seafood for an invigorating mealtime complement or with one of Perry’s Bar Bites.
The Southern Gin Gimlet is made with Local Seersucker Gin stirred with lime juice, chopped cucumber and basil. (This was my favorite cocktail of the evening!) Pair this southern spirit with the mild flavors of the Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms.
The Highland Highball features Glenmorangie 10 Year Old Original Scotch Whisky with Grand Marnier, lime juice and a splash of almond. This Scotch Whisky was the perfect match for the Steak Tartare of chopped prime filet mignon, brown mustard, fresh onion and spices topped with an egg. Break the egg yolk, then just mix the tartare ingredients together and serve with toast tips.
Finally, the Spicy Mango Tango combines Belvedere Mango Passion Vodka with lime juice and the refreshing flavors of mango and habanero lime, topped with Chandon Brut Sparkling Wine. This spicy little number went well with the Perry’s Signature Fried Asparagus topped with jumbo lump crabmeat.
Perry’s is also serving their new signature Shaken Sodas. These non-alcoholic refreshers are crafted by their mixologist and are just as tasty as their alcoholic cocktail counterparts. The Habanero Margarita Soda is a great thrust quencher and dances well with the Perry’s Famous Pork Chop ‘Bites’.
Guests can enjoy these new cocktails and other unique mixology beverages available on the Bar79 menu at special pricing during Social Hour every Monday-Friday, 4 to 7 p.m. and Sundays, 4 to 9 p.m.
