“V” for Victoria is an afternoon great pop up event hosted by Chef James Canter of Guerrilla Gourmet to benefit Victoria’s Downtown Farmers Market.
Just a reminder that this event is still happening in Victoria, TX Sept. 24th. The Chef Cooperatives were in Victoria for days cooking thousands of meals for the community, which was hit hard by the hurricane. This event will be a great benefit to the community. WHO: San Antonio’s Chef Cooperatives, a nonprofit group comprised of some of San Antonio most seasoned chefs, has been instrumental in raising funds through their pop-up dinners to actively support the health and prosperity of South Central Texas farmers, ranchers and vintners.
WHAT: “V” for Victoria is an afternoon great pop up event hosted by Chef James Canter of Guerrilla Gourmet to benefit Victoria’s Downtown Farmers Market, a program of the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent which serves an 11-county area of south Texas. Guests will enjoy a superb family-style meal made with fresh, locally-sourced and chef-crafted dishes, beer from Alamo Beer with a michelada option from Madge’s Spicy Bloody Mary Mix, and wine fromKuhlman Cellars and Lost Draw Cellars.
Chef Cooperatives members’ and supporting team StephenPaprocki, Chris Cook, James Canter, Jeff White, Toby Soto, Adrian Davila, Christina Everett Werley, Iverson Brownell, Michael Grimes and Tatu Herrera, Jenn Riesman, Jenn White, Michael Miller will be cooking/providing for this event. “We chose Victoria because it’s the home of one of our chef members, James Canter of Guerrilla Gourmet. We really wanted to do something that would support the local food movement, farmers and other vendors in his community. I think some of these smaller towns often get overlooked, so we’re bringing the party to Victoria this time!” said Coop President, Stephen Paprocki.
