6 Cocktails made from Mexico Born Spirits that will Keep Things Spicy

2 parts Milagro Silver

¾ parts agave nectar

1 part fresh lime juice

Pour all ingredients into a Boston shaker, shake and strain over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

El Rey de Reyes

6 Cocktails

1 part Ancho Reyes Verde

1 part Ancho Reyes Original

1 part Fresh Lime Juice

1/3 part Rich simple syrup 2:1 Sugar:Water

Small pinch salt

1 dash Angostura

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, add ice, shake hard and strain into a cocktail coupe. 

 

Spicy Milagro Paloma by Jaime Salas

6 Cocktails

1 ½ parts Milagro Reposado

½ part Ancho Reyes Chili Liqueur

½ part Fresh Lime Juice

3 parts Grapefruit Soda

Grapefruit Wheel

Preparation: Using a lime wedge, wet the rim of the glass and salt half the rim. Add ice, Milagro Reposado, Ancho Reyes and grapefruit soda. Squeeze a wedge of lime and discard.

Garnish with a thin grapefruit wheel.

2 oz Milagro Reposado

1 oz Fresh Lime Juice

¾ oz Fresh Squeezed Pineapple Juice

½ oz Agave Nectar

Glass: Rocks

Garnish with a pineapple leaf and freshly grated nutmeg

Combine ingredients and shake well

 

Smoked Pear Margarita by Charlotte Voisey

6 Cocktails

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz Milagro Silver

¾ oz Montelobos Mezcal

1 oz Fresh Lime Juice

¾ oz Agave Nectar

½ oz Fresh Pear Juice (muddle from ripe fruit)

Apple Bitters

Glass: Rocks

Garnish with a dehydrated pear slice and a sprinkle of sea salt

Combine ingredients and shake well

6 parts Milagro Silver

12 parts Guava Nectar (pink)

2 parts Ginger simple syrup

3 parts lime juice

Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a punch bowl and mix.

Top with Club Soda (Top Chico) or Prosecco

Garnish: Lime Wheels and white edible flowers to resemble guava flowers

Glass: punch bowl, rocks glasses

*Serves 4
