Celebrate Spring Break at San Antonio Botanical Garden With Member Appreciation Week

This Spring Break join San Antonio Botanical Garden in celebrating Member Appreciation Week March 13-17. From the chance to learn more about butterflies and pollinator plants to joining in potato sack races with your family, the San Antonio Botanical Garden provides members the perfect chance to get outside, explore and connect with nature. Member Appreciation Week offers members-only programming, including children’s activities, garden presentations, a shamrock plant giveaway and a Member Appreciation Night, while receiving an extra 10% off (20% total) gift Members Get All The Perks! Get green in the Garden this St. Patty’s Day with Member Appreciation Night. Members and their guests enjoy complimentary access to the Garden with extended hours from 5:30 – 8 p.m. Attendees will discover games, storytelling, shoulder massages and complimentary mint spritzers while strolling through the Garden. Bring a blanket and picnic on the lawn – dogs on leashes are welcome to embark on the fun too!

Alongside Member Appreciation Week, the San Antonio Botanical Garden offers public programming for everyone to enjoy – giving guests the chance to unplug with the kids and get outdoors this Spring Break. Programming runs Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and includes creating recycled art and exploring the Garden searching for George Tobolowsky’s reclaimed pieces, planting a seed to take home and nurture and a nature exploration activity.

To continue the celebrations over the weekend, the Botanical Garden is hosting PetSmart Dog Days on March 18-19, where you can stroll through the beautiful gardens with your four-legged friends. With general admission plus a $5 donation per leashed pooch, which will go to their buddies at Animal Defense League, Animal Care Services and San Antonio Humane Society, you and your furry friend will enjoy PetSmart giveaways, doggie treats and bowls of water throughout the Garden.  Members enjoy free admission with a $5 donation per dog.

Coming this year, the San Antonio Botanical Garden will open an eight-acre expansion that will bring fantastic new opportunities for you to explore and connect with nature and discover the value of plants, water, freshly grown food and the great outdoors. Major features include the Garden Gateway, Welcome & Discovery Complex, Culinary Garden and Outdoor Kitchen and Family Adventure Garden. About the San Antonio Botanical Garden
Daily admission to the San Antonio Botanical Garden is $10 adults; $8 students, seniors, military; $7 children age 3-13. The San Antonio Botanical Garden is located at 555 Funston Place at North New Braunfels. Parking is free. The Botanical Garden is operated under the auspices of the City of San Antonio Department of Parks & Recreation and is open year-round except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
