SAY Sí Celebrates 20 Years of Showcasing Local Art
On March 3 – 24, 2017, SAY Sí celebrates 20 years of showcasing the best local art, culinary fare and refreshing libations at its Small Scale • Big Change events. The exhibition and month-long silent auction features the region’s most esteemed artists with over 200 unique artworks, all up for auction in support of SAY Sí’s tuition-free creative youth-development programs.
In honor of this Small Scale • Big Change milestone, SAY Sí is channeling the Summer of Love: the summer of 1967 where like-minded young people converged in San Francisco to celebrate love, peace, community and acceptance. So get groovy and show up in your favorite 1960’s garb!
Final Art Auction Night:
SAY Sí closes out Small Scale at the Final Auction Night, with a cultural confluence that highlights chefs and mixologists, with cuisine and cocktails that feature specialty items from each participating bar and restaurant. During the evening, patrons can also explore the SAY Sí galleries and place their final in-person bids on artwork. As part of the evening’s festivities, SAY Sí annual Arts Education Award will be presented to Liz and Bill Chiego for making a creative difference in San Antonio.
