Anyone looking for some lovely Valentine’s specials in the San Antonio area should definitely check out this list. The wonderful spots are located in downtown, South Town and the Historic Pearl area. Some of the special Valentine’s offerings include a 3-course dinner with Frank Sinatra tunes by Doc Watkins and Johnny P, a SuiteHeart special which includes lodging at a grand river walk hotel with sparkling wine and breakfast, complimentary his and her matching beer glassware with dinner, chocolate flights with cocktails, Valentine’s pastries, wine specials and a chance to tie the knot in a repurposed Methodist church.

Bakery Lorraine will have special pastries available on Valentine’s Day and throughout the month of February, including:
- Heart Shaped Pop Tarts: A favorite of kids and adults alike, these pop tarts ($4 each) are just like what you grew up with, but made with extra care. Filled with strawberry jam in a sweet heart shape to show your love.
- Heart Shaped Moonpies: A perfect shade of pink pastry that’s made with homemade graham cracker cookies filled with marshmallow in the center.
- Raspberry Rose Japonaise: A beautifully spiraled macaroon filled with Raspberry Rose mascarpone cream and fresh raspberries, garnished with a rose petal and even another raspberry.
- Specialty Macaroons: Bakery Lorraine will also have special macaron flavors for Valentine’s Day that consist of milk chocolate passionfruit and strawberry. There will also be tuxedo macarons which are chocolate dipped strawberry macarons, designed like a strawberry tuxedo (each macaroon for $3).

Paramour will be having a Valentine’s Day special event, “Catch Flights, not Feelings” that includes chocolate flights paired with a curated cocktail. Options include:
First – Chocolate covered cherries paired with The Sands Cocktail.
Second – Dark chocolate covered caramels with sea salt paired with House Barrel Aged Old Fashioned.
Third – White chocolate and mixed nuts paired with Paramour’s Carajillo; Licor 43, Mezcal, Coffee, Fresh Cream.
Paramour will also be offering special champagne bottles for purchase. Each bottle purchased includes a free charcuterie board. Options include:

Hotel Contessa’s restaurant, Las Ramblas, is offering a Valentine’s Day dinner on Tuesday, February 14th. Reservations required between 5 p.m. – 9 .m., $55/person.
$55 per person (excludes tax and tip)
Hotel Contessa is also offering a SUITEheart Special: a night to treat a sweetheart to a gorgeous suite, bottle of sparkling wine, breakfast for two in Las Ramblas, and a late checkout time (12 pm). The hotel is right along the San Antonio Riverwalk, which makes a more ideal romantic getaway. Book dates are from December 20, 2016 – February 27, 2017.

Jazz, TX will be offering a special Italian themed performance with Frank Sinatra tunes by Doc Watkins and Johnny P., and an Italian cuisine prix fixe 3-course meal during dinner on Valentine’s Day for $150 per couple, limited to 40 couples.
Options on menu include:
First Course: Choice of calamari and chiles or roasted caprese salad.
Second Course: Choice of truffle ricotta stuffed tortelini with mushroom sauce or braised beef cheek with horseradish gnocchi.
Third Course: Choice of tiramisu or raspberry panacotta.
Dinner hours: 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Southerleigh will be offering dinner specials off the regular dinner menu for couples on Valentine’s Day. They will also be offering complimentary his and her matching beer glassware to cheers to a romantic evening.

Frank will be offering special $12 El Libre wines by the bottle. Options include:
Cabernet Sauvignon: Flavored with cherries, plums and currant fruit flavors with hints of pepper, truffle and cassis.

Rosé: A dry European style with spice and aromas of strawberries and wild herbs.
