Peanut Butter Love is Celebrated during the Month of November
For all of the peanut butter lovers out there, November is officially your month to celebrate your peanut butter love! While peanut butter is most likely a staple in your day-to-day life, we want to help you switch it up to celebrate Peanut Butter Lovers Month with the recipes below from Carrington Farms.
Crunchy Protein Peanut Butter Bars
- 1 C Crunchy Peanut Butter
- 3/4 C Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/8 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Tbsp Carrington Farms Flax Hemp Blend or 1 Carrington Farms Flax Hemp Pak
- 1 Large Room Temperature Egg
- 1/2 C Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 C Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
Mix the peanut butter, sugar, baking soda and salt until well blended. Add vanilla, seeds and egg and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips and oats. Press the mixture into a lined or sprayed 8×8 baking pan. Bake in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 22 minutes. Let cool and harden before cutting.
No Bake Oatmeal Peanut Butter Bites
- 1 Cup Oats (dry)
- 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 Cup Carrington Farms Flax Chia Blend
- 1/2 Cup Natural Peanut Butter
- 1/3 Cup Honey
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
In a large bowl mix together all of the ingredients until they are well blended. Refrigerate mixture for at least a half an hour then form into 1 inch balls. Keep refrigerated. Eat this as a snack to satisfy your sweet tooth and to provide you with energy to get through the day!
