Nao Latin Gastro Bar at the Historic Pearl Launches New Fall Menu

Nao Latin Gastro Bar is excited to announce their a new fall dinner menu. The Culinary Institute of America at San Antonio announced today that the new fall dinner menu is now available at Nao Latin Gastro Bar. The fall menu features starters, grill items, and exciting specialties all showcasing the fall flavors from the region and beyond.

 

“With our upcoming Latin Summit at the end of the month, in which we will celebrate the cuisine and wines of Argentina and Chile, we have purposely slanted the menu choices to reflect the rich cuisine of these two countries and added other favorite dishes from Latin America,” said John Carpenter, Chef de Cuisine at Nao Latin Gastro Bar. “I am very excited to offer this fall menu to our guests.”

 

Nao Latin Gastro Bar’s new dinner menu includes starters to share, such as Empanadas with corn, salsa blanca, and ají verde; Burrata and Charbroiled Beets with basil and orange; and Pork Belly Skewers with chicharrón ají verde, and cilantro.

The restaurant will offer several different options from the grill, including a Double Cut Pork Chop with fall flavors like mustard seeds, apples, and turnips; a Filet served with Malbec glaze, potatoes, and creamed leeks and spinach; and an incredible Mixed Parilla for Two with NY steak, hanger steak, blood sausage, Argentinean chorizo, charred peppers, onions, potatoes, and chimichurri.

Specialties include Seared Scallops with vatapá sauce, crispy yucca, and sweety drop peppers; Braised Lamb Shank with squash, peas, and dried fruit; and a Daily Seafood Catch served with tomatoes, olives, and capers.

In addition to an expansive lineup of seasonal wines, the fall specialty beverages include Chicana 75 with Ancho Reyes, Campari, strawberries, lime, and brut sparkling; the Tito’s and Hootch with Tito’s vodka, house-made tepache, rosemary, lemon, and salt; and the Desert Rose, made with sotol, Punt e Mes, Cocchi Americano, and Aperol.

Nao Latin Gastro Bar is open for lunch Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; for dinner Tuesday to Thursday from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 to 10 p.m.; and for brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
