Twin Peaks New “Made From Scratch” Menu is on Target
Twin Peaks is the ultimate sports lodge offering patrons iced cold beer, sports viewing like you’ve never seen it and a chef driven menu everyone will love. Begin your adventure as soon as you drive up to the log cabin style lodge with the bellowing Elk outside then walk inside to be greeted by happy, smiling faces. Catch all the play-by-play action in this lodge clad restaurant surrounded by big screen TV’s everywhere while sipping on the coldest beers this side of the Rockies.
Starting the evening with a manly 16oz. or the ladies 12oz. iced cold (29 degrees) brew then deciding on what to eat are your two next moves. They have a big selection of beers on tap as well as many more in bottles and cans so I know you will find something you like. However if you don’t want a regular beer, try an apple cider or a fruity sandy. Or if you are more into spirits, cocktails or wine, they have all those too! I decided to try one of Twin Peaks signature brews, the Knotty Brunette, one of four flirty ales on tap brewed by Twin Peaks Brewing Company. The Knotty Brunette is an American brown ale with just a tad of sweetness.
Their new menu is chef-driven, made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Along with your favorite classics you will find some new additions like Double Stacked Nachos loaded with both Steak and Chicken, a Greek Salad with Kale for a healthier option or Green Chile Chicken Soup. I know you will find something to whet your appetite.
For starters the Triple Play, chipotle queso, smashed quac and fire roasted salsa served with thin, slightly salted chips, is just light enough and shareable so you can dip, sip, and watch the Kick-off before ordering your main course.
The Green Chile Chicken Soup spiced with those New Mexico Hatch Chiles that are in season right now, has a bit of flavorful heat. This soup is loaded with chicken chunks, tomato, roasted corn, pico de gallo that all pick up some smokiness from the paprika. Adding a little lime keeps it fresh.
The Hangover burger is a loaded burger filled with all your favorite stuff. Then add bacon and a fried egg and top! I know, right! This one is bliss with the seasoned smashed beef that is cooked to order for maximum flavor. It comes with a side of fries.
You men are going to love the new Rack. These juicy, hickory smoked St. Louis style ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender due to the slow cooking. You will want to go ahead and pick up those bones and gnaw on them, then lick your fingers. They come in a full or half rack and I’ll tell you, the half rack is a plate full. Served with two good sized sides, you won’t go home hungry.
I know you are probably full at this point, but just in case you want dessert… don’t “oh no” me…, you should try the Twin Peaks Sundae. You get two scoops of vanilla ice cream over a warm brownie. Topped with hot fudge, whipped cream and an cherry on top it’s a sweet ending to this meal. It is shareable you know!
